I want to share my journey with “Vibe Coding” and how it’s reshaping the way we build. As we gather here in the Women Go Tech Community, we all share a common drive to deepen our technical knowledge, learn new skills, or simply exchange our experiences. I want to start by expressing my deepest gratitude to the creators of this space—you are doing truly vital work.

The emergence of AI has turned every field upside down, especially tech. While society is still adjusting to this new reality, the fear that AI will simply replace us and lead to widespread job loss hasn’t proven entirely true. I became even more convinced of this after completing the AI Foundations Program organized by Women Go Tech. That experience helped me analyze and realize that AI is, above all, a supportive tool that saves our resources and gifts us something precious: more free time.

There were failures too, and I shared those as well — but usually in a positive way, because bad experience is still experience.

I often think that AI creators must have had women in mind — especially those balancing motherhood and career. For women who manage endless routines while fighting for professional growth, AI provides the freedom to focus on what truly matters.

With 10 years in tech, I’ve seen many trends. When the term “Vibe Coding” emerged, I was skeptical. However, when I faced a deadline where a week’s worth of work had to be done in just three days, I decided to give it a try.

The result is this project: factory-georgia.web.app. This isn’t built on a CMS; it’s a custom React.js application with its own admin panel and Firebase integration. While AI wrote about 90% of the code, here is what I learned:

No career is disappearing; instead, the world needs professionals who can master these new tools. If you are just starting your coding journey, don’t stop! After all, AI can’t talk to us without the web interfaces and infrastructure that we build.
